Moana Sing-Along

The joyous super-loved tale of Moana’s quest to save her homeland — boasting eye-catching visuals, earworm songs and heart-swelling messages about respect for the past and hope for the future.

Disney’s blockbuster tribute to Polynesian culture, much loved here in Aotearoa and around the world, returns to the big screen as a very special sing-along event. Hit composer Lin-Manuel Miranda songs are catchy and uplifting, and impossible not to sing along to. Come and belt your heart out.

Moana, set to become the next leader of her people, is a pacific teen-explorer with a fire in her soul, passed down through generations. Inspired by her grandmother who loves to dance with the water, Moana sets sail against her father’s wishes to restore the Heart of Te Fiti, a magical stone stolen by the trickster demigod Maui. There’s no place for stereotypical princess antics in this particular Disney story, just brilliant comedy and rollicking high-sea adventure, and an honest, affirmative message about finding yourself and forging your own identity.
